4. Phantom.conf
The format of the Phantom.conf file is as follows:
ZONE#:Enabled/Disabled:Type of Device:NC/NO:Wait State:Location Of Device
- ZONE# is the Zone Number. '#' is an integer between 1 and 5.
Example: ZONE1
- Enabled/Disabled is the status of the device. Either Enabled or Disabled.
Example: Enabled
- Type of Device. So far, Phantom.Security supports the following types of
devices: Door Magnet, Motion Sensor, and Smoke Detector.
Example: Door Magnet
- NC/NO indicates whether the device is Normally Closed or Normally open.
Example: Normally Open
- Wait State is how long to wait after a device has been tripped before it
can be tripped again (the device will still trip, but it will not show up
in the log).
Example: 0
- Location of Device can be used as a general description field. It makes
the log A LOT easier to read with descriptions.
Example: On main office door
Comments are not allowed in the file. The format must be followed exactly
or else flaky things might happen :). Now, you are not limited to just
Door Magnets, Motion Sensors, and Smoke Detectors. Say if you got this
laser tracking, heat sensing, breath smelling, super-duper apparatus, and it
has 5V Normally Open or Normally Closed outputs, and you want to use it, you
can! Just say it's a Motion Sensor. Like wise, if you've got
trip wires, those could function just like a Door Magnet. Same principal(?).
